Type

Toggle: enabledChecks.type · Fix: none · Command: types

Type checking can target selected source files or run the configured TypeScript project. Project checks can inspect files beyond the changed-file set.

Configure tools.tsc, tsconfig, typecheckRoots, and typecheckExtensions. typecheckCommand can run a repository-owned executable and args. Types help make invalid states harder to represent but do not replace runtime validation at untrusted boundaries.

Before — a string status is passed where the API requires a number:

function setStatus(code: number) {}
const status = '404';
setStatus(status);

After — use a number or parse validated external input at the boundary:

function setStatus(code: number) {}
const status = 404;
setStatus(status);
